Vice President, Federauto
Plinio Vanini began his journey at Autotorino in 1985, after the premature passing of his father, leaving his great passion for farming in the background. From a salon with workshop in Morbegno, in small steps he began to outline what today is Autotorino, thanks to an extremely personalized model of offer, a multi-brand proposal and multiple mobility services becoming the Italian leader in the sector since 2015 and consolidating its role by its own lines and subsequent acquisitions. The company has maintained its headquarters in Valtellina and has more than 70 branches in 24 provinces in Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Lazio. One of its hallmarks is a vision oriented toward quality and innovation in organizational models and services offered to the public, supported by constant investment in training, research and development-a path that has earned Autotorino numerous times the national award for Management Innovation from the Automotive Dealer Day jury. Since 2019, the scientific committee of Luiss University and CERVED has awarded Autotorino the Industria Felix Prize, annually confirming the group among the best-performing national companies in terms of management and ability to produce employment, as well as financial reliability. The latter aspect is also recognized by the CR Awards promoted by Milano Finanza MF-Centralerisk, which listed Autotorino among the 100 most punctual companies in relations with the financial and banking system in the years 2022 and 2023. Plinio Vanini, meanwhile, has continued to cultivate his passion for animal husbandry, bringing to fruition the project of an authentic, modernly organized alpine farm, the La Fiorida agritourism company, and leading the Sondrio Provincial Breeders' Association (APA) and the Breeders' Association from 2005 to 2018 and the Lombardy Regional Breeders' Association (ARAL) from 2018 to 2022.

35 years of experience in the world of HR with the enthusiasm and curiosity of the first day always. But also the awareness of how today 'doing human resources' is not only an activity of daily business life but also a social responsibility. Because the focus of HR consists not only in the identification of the best professional talents who, with their experience and sensitivity, are the added value of a company that wants to make a difference in the market, but also in the constant enhancement of the human capital already present in the workforce, that is, those workers-actors who, involved in the strategies of the company, feel part of a common project, of which they have immediate tangibility, which cannot do without their contribution. After 30 years in Seat-Pagine Gialle then Italia On Line with increasing levels of responsibility in the HR area and now, in a second professional life, in BIAUTO GROUP, a consolidated and dynamic premium automotive company present between Piedmont and Liguria with 16 locations and more than 400 employees, Veronica Turra is Director of Human Resources reporting directly to Ownership. But she is also the mother of two teenage daughters who tell her about the youthful world in constant turmoil. In her HR team, where being well is combined with working industriously, often ahead of the times, together with her own team of specialists in recruitment, training, payroll administration, welfare and people & culture she carries out her project, which refracts a specific corporate identity, to make the BIAUTO GROUP the place where human resources (the key word for Veronica is: resources) can enthusiastically and with a sense of belonging plan their future. Personal and Professional.
